What programmes can I study at the Bangalore campus?
We currently offer 3-year degree programmes in Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing and Management, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Multimedia Design and Product Design. All these subjects may also be studied as a 2-year Advanced Diploma. At this level the Graphic Design course is replaced by Visual Communication.

When does the academic year begin?
We have 4 intakes in a year, starting in January, April, July and October.
When do you conduct the entry test?
The entrance test for our Degree/Diploma programme will be held around 1 month before the start of each intake, plus occasionally at other times too. Contact us for details of forthcoming test dates.
What are the topics covered in the entry test?
The entry test for our Programmes covers your knowledge of art, design and English. The entry test is primarily designed to gauge your aptitude and suitability for the specific programme at Raffles Millennium International Bangalore. It tests your logical and reasoning aptitude, awareness about the field in general, drawing/color skills, visualisation skills and language skills.
When is the portfolio review and interview? What work should my portfolio contain?
The portfolio review and interview help us assess your talent, interests, prior training, motivation and self-discipline. A portfolio would typically include around 5-8 examples of your best and most recent creative work. Contact us if you would like to discuss portfolio requirements with one of our faculty.
Can I have copies of old test papers or mock tests that will help me prepare for the entrance test?
We do not give out copies of old test papers, nor do we have mock test papers.
Does RMI Bangalore provide hostel facilities?
RMI Bangalore does not provide hostel facilities at present. The school has a list of addresses of those who offer paying guest facilities for RMI Bangalore students in the vicinity of the school campus in Koramangala.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Raffles Millennium International currently offers a 3 year Bachelor Degree Programme. However if students wish to exit after the second year, they will be awarded with an Advanced Diploma from Raffles Design Institute, Singapore. It is also possible to enroll for two years to study only for the Diploma.
Students from Raffles institutions who have completed the corresponding Advanced Diploma will receive direct entry into the year three degree programme. For students graduating from other institutions, entry will be assessed on a case by case basis. Recognition of prior learning will be subject to evaluation on the relevance of their course curriculum and portfolio review/interview (if applicable). Students may be required to take some bridging courses to supplement their areas of specialisation.
ELIGIBILITY
10 + 2 from any recognised board. Class 12 students appearing or waiting may also apply for provisional admission.
The RMI Entrance Exam will take place 4 times a year followed by a studio test for the short-listed candidates.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Candidate will appear for a 60 minute objective based RMAT (Raffles Millennium Aptitude Test), which will cover the following areas:
- English Proficiency
- Mathematics (Grade 10 Level)
- Creative Interpretation
Short-listed candidates from RMAT are called for a studio test and interview. The studio test will assess aptitude in the following areas: illustrations, colour mixing, proportions, drawings, visualisation, etc. This will be followed by submission of their respective portfolio.
APPLICATION PROCESS
The application form is available at an RMI institute near to you with a payment of Rs 500 by cheque.
You may also download the Application Form via our contact form. Once completed it should be submitted along with a cheque or Crossed Demand Draft of Rs 2500 in favour of “Educomp Raffles Higher Education Ltd.”
Incomplete or incorrect information could delay the processing of your application. Please print or write clearly in BLOCK CAPITAL letters. All applications should include the following:
1. Copy of applicant’s ID proof (passport, driving licence, PAN card, school ID card etc.)
2. Three (3) passport sized photographs.
3. Copies of Applicant’s latest educational transcripts and certificates:
- 10th Certificate copy (attested by gazette attested officer)
- 12th Admit Card Copy
4. Updated Resume if Applicant has work experience for more than one (1) year.
5. Application Fee.
