First year Interior Design students Shamna Rasheed and Prateek Sabharwal have organised their own art and photography exhibition which is currently showing in Bangalore.
After a successful opening night on Saturday, they will be showcasing their latest artworks to the public at the Renaissance Gallerie, Cunningham Road, from the 2nd to the 4th of May 2012. Some works are for sale.

The Renaissance Gallerie is organising an art and photography exhibition by Prateek Sabharwal and Shamna Rasheed. Prateek is a young, upcoming artist, based in Bangalore. Photography, charcoal and mixed media are his main interests. “Photography helps me understand the things that go into creating an art work. Both my passions are interdependent”, says Prateek. A play of black and white is seen in his collection. Landmarks of London are part of the works on display. Shamna on the other hand uses ink, acrylic and oil paints to represent her ideas. Her works reflect the struggles that take place within our minds.
